CM1 and CM2 houses and what they need
Chelmsford runs from Victorian terraces around Moulsham Street to sprawling 1930s semis in Springfield and very large modern developments at Beaulieu and Chelmer Village. The newer Beaulieu and Chelmer Village houses are quick to work in but have plasterboard on dabs, so heavy fittings need proper noggins rather than plasterboard plugs. We plan the first fix around the construction we actually find on the survey.

Working across Chelmsford
Chelmsford is about thirty-five minutes from our Bishop’s Stortford base, so work runs continuous weeks with deliveries timed to each stage. In most houses you have a working sink and cooker back inside eight working days even though the job runs two to three weeks. Victorian Moulsham terraces have suspended timber floors that flex, so anything rigid laid over them needs overboarding or a decoupling layer first.
